So far the format was played very casually. So much in fact that it was mostly a side event once the swiss rounds were over in other more popular formats but late in december 2024 the first main event with Overprinted as the main thing took place in Basauri, a small town near Bilbao in northern Spain.
The small print on the poster reads "1st Overprinted MTG International invitational tournament" which I believe to be a sample of Basque people humour as it was played by locals mainly.
In the end there were different archtypes, some very experimental but the mono red goblins won this very first tournament ever.
