Nope.
Well ok, it's not that harsh.
As far as the rules for the format go no proxies are allowed, goes against the philosophy of the thing. Sure, we know there are some expensive cards (duals anyone?) but come on, not as costly as going into other OS formats.
As for reprints we allow a lot of them, if the old frame/og art conditions are met, sure, legal card!
Not to talk of the irony that would be using proxies for OVERPRINTED cards (but that's more semantics than anything else)
Now to adress the elephant on the room. Non tournament legal reprints.
We are talking about you CE, IE WCD decks and 30th anniversary cards. Those? Not legal, they're printed from the start as non playable cards.
Of course, these are only the general rules but any local community or ogarnizer will do as they please, so take it with a pinch of salt :)
PS: If you have some Fallen Empires cards with the wrong back... you can use them if you have your deck sleeved, but I'd personally keep them in a binder!
